Frequently Asked

How do I get started?

Reach out to our admin assistant via email, phone, or the contact us on the website. She will then let you know who has availability and you can then choose who you feel will fit your needs best based on the bios on our website. The Admin will connect you to the counselor for a consult and in the meantime, she will run an eligibility check on your insurance and send you a tentative quote for cost. Once that is complete, you are ready to work with your counselor to schedule.

I know who I want to work with, can I just ask for a specific person?

Absolutely! We try to keep our website up to date on availability; however, at times a therapist may have a waitlist. If that is the case, our admin may suggest another therapist who has similar therapeutic techniques and approaches.

I've never been to therapy before, what can I expect at my first appointment?

When you arrive, there is a check in tablet, choose your therapist and a notification will be sent to them that you are here. The first session you will go over intake paperwork that was signed prior to attending. Often the first session is a lot of questions to gain a better understanding of your needs and what direction you would like to take in therapy.

How does my insurance work?

If we are in network, we have a contract with the insurance company for a set price. Our admin assistant will run an eligibility quote to determine where you are at in your deductible, how much you have left to meet your deductible and then what your coinsurance is. Typically, if you have a copay you do not have to meet a deductible first. Please know that all insurance quotes are a courtesy and by no means a definitive number of price.
